Customer Terms & Conditions when making a booking on the Logistics Specialist website
Logistics Specialist Ltd – Customer Terms of Service
1. Definitions
- “We/Us/Our” means Logistics Specialist Ltd.
- “You/Your” means the customer booking our services.
- “Services” means transport, delivery, storage, removals, or related logistics services provided.
2. Booking & Payment
- All bookings must be made via our website or through an authorised representative.
- Payment is due at the time of booking by debit/credit card, Stripe, or other approved method.
- We reserve the right to charge additional costs automatically to the same payment method used for booking (waiting time, changes, extras, fines, tolls, congestion/ULEZ, etc.).
- Bookings in the London Congestion Zone will incur an extra £20 charge.
3. Cancellations & Waiting Time
- 24+ hours before: 50% fee. Within 24 hours: 100% fee.
- Waiting time charges: Vans £30/hr after 30+30 mins; Lorries £50/hr after 60+60 mins.
4. Insurance & Liability
- GIT insurance up to the limit in your confirmation.
- No liability for your incorrect info or external delays; claims within 48 hours.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Access/parking readiness, secure packaging/labels, no restricted goods unless agreed.
6. Changes to Terms
We may amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version published on our website at the time of booking will apply.
7. Governing Law
England & Wales law applies. Disputes are subject to UK courts.
Driver Terms & Conditions
Logistics Specialist Ltd – Driver/Subcontractor Agreement
Valid licences, right-to-work, vehicles, and continuous GIT insurance required. Professional conduct mandatory. Payment after job completion with a valid POD. We may terminate for misconduct or breach.
